Residential Space Lighting Design
Lighting in residential areas serves many purposes, from
cultivating an inviting and friendly atmosphere to creating a safe,
secure environment where residents can feel comfortable to move
around freely. Nowadays creating a sustainable, eco-friendly living
environment is also of great importance, making the lighting choice
all the more significant.
The high energy efficiency and long life span also help reduce
costs, adding to their sustainability while helping home and
property owners save money on operating costs.
With A-ONE LED lighting, residential areas can add reliable
lighting that casts an excellent color on the surroundings; whether
in crisp cool tones or soft, warm ones, is your choice. Furthermore
the lack of IR and UV rays increases comfort, enhances clarity and
is healthier for residents;
Because LEDs contain no toxic substances such as mercury, they're a
sustainable solution and a great way for residential complexes to
go green.
Apartment complexes, condominiums, private homes and any other kind
of residential area will look better and be a safer place to live
with A-ONE LED lighting.

B. Kitchens & Utility Rooms
The kitchen is the epicenter of activity while preparing weekday
meals, dinners etc. Additionally, many kitchen areas now include
nooks, mini-entertainment centres and espresso bars, creating a
social stomping ground many prefer to the more perhaps formal
living or dining room. As a result, today's smart kitchens need to
be streamlined for maximum efficiency as well as optimal style.
Lighting can't be neglected in planning 'the heart' of your home.
Your goal is to reduce shadows that obscure workspaces with several
light sources and careful placement.
For your central source of ambient light, go with an eco-friendly
energy efficient LED Soptlight. Given the amount of time the
average kitchen light is on, you'll save money and reduce the
amount of heat emitted by your overhead lights as you cook. This
main fixture will unavoidably cast shadows, but a few cleverly
positioned supplemental lights will solve this problem. Add a
dimmer for complete light control.
Place our energy saving recessed LED downlights over your sink and
hob. These will keep the area bright for cooking and cleaning
tasks, and serve as a spotlight to highlight that range oven!
Kitchen islands are becoming a popular focal point of many
kitchens, all those polished granite or marble counter-tops. Keep
the overhead space of your island just as beautiful with our
individual suspended low energy pendants .
Under cabinet lighting... Our LED MR16 Soptlight is perfect to
illuminate your counter-tops for safer chopping and meal
preparation. Also great to keep on and create ambience, they use
only 12W per meter!
C. Bedrooms
It's a good idea to consider a dimmer switch on your main bedroom
light so you can adjust the level of light to suit the mood and
time of day. If you read in bed or have to get out of bed to switch
your main light off then a table light for your bedside table is
essential.
Living rooms
The living room is probably the most functional room of the house
where many different activities take place.
Table and Floor lamps are great to put next to chairs and sofas for
reading.
Wall lights are also good for creating ambience in the living room.
You may want to highlight a painting, plant or object with a
spotlight or picture light or create a focal point with a pendant.
D. Dining rooms
This is the ideal room for a pendant light. Hang it directly above
your dining room table if possible to provide light and focus on
the table. Wall lighting is also a good idea to create a
